There are now 3 back to back events in July in the Midwest, 2 are in Ohio and 1 in Missouri. HHRBOUTIQUE will be in attendance at all 3 and we will bring lots of HHR goodies to see, touch and buy if you want. We are looking forward to meeting all the HHR owners we can next month. SAVE MONEY AND GET MORE PERFORMANCE WITH ACCESSORIES FROM HHRBOUTIQUE Performance enhancing products can and do save fuel. Your engine runs more efficiently when you can get more air into the engine with a high performance intake (Airair, CGS, or K&N) and exhaust (CGS or Magnaflow), you have a great combination of improved performance and better fuel economy. So how do I get better performance and better economy, you might be thinking? The answer is all in how you drive. If you use the power mods to accelerate and drive faster all the time, you will do a good job of using lots more fuel and will have a lot of fun in the process. On the other hand, the improved air flow, exhaust flow, spark, and optimization with the Jet Chip will allow lighter throttle application to get the same performance you had before the mods. Less throttle translates to better mileage. There was a study by BMW during one of the energy crisis in the 70's. It showed that brisk accelleration to cruising speed, then light throttle at cruise produced the best gas mileage. The conclusion was the less time you spend in the lower gears, the better. How much can I save? At $4.00 per gallon, quite a bit. We've had a number of HHR owners tell us they are getting in and around 30 mpg in their overall daily driving. A 10% improvement to 33 mpg will save almost $200 per year, assuming the average 15000 miles per year. A 20% improvement saves around $400 per year.
